The SaltDogg TGS01B 8 cubic foot tailgate spreader is ideal for smaller scale commercial applications using #1 rock salt. The spreader mounts to either your step bumper or hitch 9with option hitch mount – sold separately). The optional Wintergate Spreader Mount allows for full bed access even while the spreader is on the truck. The TGS01B works with 1/2 ton, 3/4 ton, and 1 ton trucks.

It features a corrosion-resistant 8 cubic foot poly hopper. The spreader’s 9 in. poly spinner can cast up to 30 feet.

Its 1/2 HP, 12V motor is directly wired and is controlled by an included variable speed in-cab controller. It comes prewired for an option vibrator kit (sold separately).
